[plug] vpn breaks home network

Hi List,

I have made some progress!

1) "To allow local LAN access, it must be enabled on both the VPN Client 
and the VPN device you are connecting to." work will not enable it -- 
someone has already asked.

2) http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3930181 gives instructions 
for patching the vpn client. This works and gives me the LAN back.

3) route add -host 192.168.1.13 dev eth0
then gives me a path to the other machine. This is probably all I need 
to be able to get a network attached storage working
