[plug] Linux Apps on Mac(sort of on topic)

Hi all

Does anyone have any experience in getting linux apps to run under Mac  
OSX? I would like to get amaroK running in OSX which is proving to be  
rather difficult even with some rather comprehensive tutorials on the  
interweb. Would it be deemed appropriate to get help with Mac at a PLUG  
workshop if it relates to the unix terminal behind Mac?
