[plug] older laptop ram compatibility and availaility

I have an older laptop (cel 400, satellite 4090) housing only a single
PC66 ram card of 128Mb. I'm chasing some replacement ram for this unit
to bring it to at least 256mb, but am finding it hard to get. I have
read that PC66 ram only goes to 128mb, but have also read that PC100, or
even PC133, should be compatible. Can anyone confirm this, please?

WTB: anyone got older laptop ram of >=256mb to suit my model lying
around in a drawer that they want to part with for a small sum? 
Also WTB: anyone got a small laptop hard drive (20, 40 or 60Gb) to suit
my model that they no longer need that they want to part with for a
small sum?
