[plug] ubuntu client proxy configuration

Hi pluggers,

When installing ubuntu, there is an opportunity to set a system wide
web proxy.  Can anyone tell me where this info is stored (or a
command for changing/setting the proxy details)?  I'm dealing with a
headless server over ssh that is accessing port 80 through the proxy
and I need to change the proxy connection details.
