I asked Hienz Mauelshagen and he suggested using the commands I gave in
the mail below to see if they make the message go away. After looking at
the output from the display commands you gave he said that your LV is as
big as your VG so you can't vgreduce it. And the errors can be
explained by trying to shrink the LV without first shrinking the
filesystem (ha, I did that a while back myself).
