My client is looking for an experienced Unix Systems Administrator who
specialises in Linux. The main responsibilities of the position are to:

# Perform day to day UNIX system administration duties for a number of
UNIX servers.
# Provide technical support to application developers and DBAs.
# Must be able to work independently to complete assigned tasks.

The environment:
# The client's UNIX environment currently consists of approximately 45
Solaris 7,8,9 and 10 servers. Key applications include Veritas Volume
Manager, Oracle, MQ Series, IBM Websphere, Sun Java Application Server,
Unicenter TNG and Legato Networker.

Skills and Experience
# Minimum of 5 years technical IT experience
# Sun Solaris OS & Veritas Volume Manager experience
# Strong written and verbal communication skills a necessity.

# IBM Websphere
# Unicenter TNG
# Legato Networker
