This morning on ABC radio a fella named Michael Norton was speaking to 
Richard Aedy on Life Matters on how to make this a better planet to live

He suggested several things we can do (from his book 365 Ways To Save 
The World - http://365act.com/ ) and of the few examples mentioned Linux 
and OpenOffice.org and Wikipedia are there..
