Hi.

Is anyone(else) having difficulties with their nvidia glx modules after
the new kernel update for feisty came in the other day?

I have tried the usual tricks like "apt-get install --reinstall
linux-restricted-modules-$(uname -r) nvidia-glx" and also I've tried
depmod -ae.
These helped to recover the x-server and my desktop, however glxinfo
speaks thusly:

name of display: :0.0
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

and my xorg logfile show this.

error NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the GLX module; please
check in your X
error NVIDIA(0): log file that the GLX module has been loaded

GLX module. If
error NVIDIA(0): you continue to encounter problems, Please try

and also

    error Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules//libglx.so
    information UnloadModule: "glx"
error Failed to load module "glx" (loader failed, 7)

Anyone experiencing or solved similar??

Cheers.
D.
