Thanks for your continuing input, Bill :-) Just as well I didn't
embarrass myself on the evo list, since the problem seems to be
widespread for all apps that offer links to html :-) Never used to be
this way until a recent update of some apps, so by coincidence I blamed
evo. It's got me frustrated, because I've changed every instance of file
associations I can find in kde but no go. Oh well, learn to live with
it. I simply right click and copy a url to my clipboard, rather than
right click and open in browser. Adapt and survive ;-)
