No, but I downloaded & burnt an Ubuntu CD (&
Flash config stick) dedicated to the purpose,
& handed the pair to a checkout chick who
asked me (point blank, at the register me not
wearing a penguin shirt at the time) if I
knew about fixing Linux on a PS3.

Should catch up with her (hi, J!) & find out
how she finally got on.

Still have the ISO (603MB) if you'd like me to
burn another copy & hand it to you (will help
if you happen to be between Freo, Perth (rail
line) and/or Joondalup).
