I'm aware of something very similar called mremote.org but I think
it's Win only... (even though it's open source)
It supports:

    * RDP (Remote Desktop)
    * VNC (Virtual Network Computing)
    * ICA (Citrix ICA)
    * SSH (Secure Shell)
    * Telnet (TELecommunication NETwork)
    * HTTP/S (Hypertext Transfer Protocol)
    * Rlogin (Rlogin)
    * RAW

You could fork it :-P
(he's talking about closed sourcing it atm anyway...)
