Hi, I use bigpond "nextG" blue desktop modem with linux, it is easy, the
tech guy you spoke to is an idiot, it does use a phone number, it is:
the other number is for telstra mobile phones to connect as modems (as
far as I can determine?)
it will work just fine with the usbserial module if you specify the
