Not sure, would be worth googling and having a look around.

The current release is based on Hardy 8.04 and everything worked out of the
box for me... Wireless LAN, sound etc all fine.
You may have better or worse luck depending on the hardware that you are
installing it on.

There's certainly nothing from stopping you at trying :)
Once you use the program to extract the ISO to your USB drive and make it
bootable, it simply boots like a live CD, so you can try before you install.
