Is all ok. Someone else in the office has a 1000HD (and I'm not telling
her it's only got a Celeron in it!), and I borrowed her power pack. A
full day's use, then I got a full night's use and then some on battery,
so Ubuntu is up and running, plus other tweaks and configs are well on
the way. My wife is taking the entire unit over to Bentley for a
replacement power pack today - hopefully it will be a simple swap over
at PLE.
