Thank you Mitch for introducing Bob to us. Sounds like a friendly beast!
And Bret with your comments about Optus - you probably haven't put me 
off approaching them tho'.
My email dialix.com.au account is with justnet from years ago and I 
don't want to change that,
so the separate billing would be necessary in any event.
Tim and Kirk make it clear that I should give more attention to naked 
adsl (and iinet). The problem of
power failure is  possibly  not all that important  if we have a mobile.
And thanks Craig for your devilish comments. I'll check all these options.
