[plug] Linux webcams

I purchased a Logitech C200, and it works great. It uses the uvc driver
I believe, which actually supports a heck of a lot more cameras than I
realised.
Anyone looking for Linux compatible webcams, take a look at
http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/
Also, the other webcam I tried (borrowed) used a different drive and
required some funky LD_PRELOAD to get it working in skype. The logitech
(and uvc driver) didn't require any of that, it just worked. But
pulseaudio was a pain, so I killed the pulse audio server, forced it to
not autoload, and use just pure ALSA, that way I can select the USB mic
(part of the camera) as the audio input. You /can/ do this with pulse,
but not via Skype. All in all, killing pulseaudio actually solved other
sound issues I've been having, so 2 birds with one stone.
