Hi everyone

Can I ask for someone to record this - audio would do, but video please if
there are flashing lights and moving gadgets!

I often run the sound and lighting for concerts and plays in Nannup with very
basic equipment, and have been thinking about upgrading our hall sound and
lighting systems. This would be great information for me. Unfortunately I
won't be able to make it to the talk, but I will be up to see Richard Stallman
on the 19th. See you there...

Here's a suggestion - being a 'rural and remote' member, I would be willing to
put some money into getting talks recorded and distributed to people like me.
Audio and compressed video up to a couple of hundred megabytes I could
download from the PLUG website, maybe occasional postage for DVDs of major
events. Would any other remote members be prepared to pay a premium membership
to get a copy of the talks?

I'll leave the price to the committee (I would be prepared to pay up to $50
per year for this service), but would a $20 - $30 annual fee be OK if we get a
few people on board?
