The only reason I threw the idea out there was that I went to put the
old logo into drupal, and discovered it doesn't have transparency
which kinda forces the theme to be white based. Basically I was
thinking that a redesign of the logo ("renewal?") was what was needed,
but figured we might as well ask opinions/ideas seeing as ether way
effort would have to be put in from someone.

Understood. But our PLUG membership cards don't use the same logo that
we use on the website. (The currently just have Tux, plus the border
that is the perth skyline).

Woolworths got a "new" look to their logo.

(I'm not trying to get people upset, just putting it out there for
feedback. This is a users group, run by the members so ultimatly it's
their say).
