[plug] network log reporting

Why not set it up as a central syslog server? - even windows machines
can log to it with a little work.  Then you have either one big file or
use the filtering/facility functions to control the logging.

google "central syslog server" - lots of hits

If you want to get really funky, use snmp and traps :)
