At the recent PLUG at the Pub, the idea of a calendar with events from
different groups in the I.T space in Perth was floated and received
positive feedback.

The Groups mentioned on the night (that I wrote down) were SAGE-AU,
Drupal WA, Joomla WA, PHP Perth, Port 80, and Agile Perth.

Melbourne Linux User Group seems to have a very comprehensive listing
of this sort of information which can be viewed at
http://www.mlug.org.au/doku.php/other_groups/start

There is also http://www.techevents.com.au which has a focus on larger
events and company seminars, however it does not appear to receive
much information about Perth/Western Australia Events.

Sage-AU also has a forum dedicated to other groups event at
http://forums.port80.asn.au/forumdisplay.php?f=35

The following is details on the other groups I have been able to find
from Google.

If anyone knows of any other groups, or has any corrections for the
information posted thus far, please advise.

I am new to PLUG and unsure of the protocol involved, but would like
to see these other groups listed in a common area (perhaps on the PLUG
website similar to MLUGs) and a (google?) calendar set up so Members
can subscribe to receive event notifications.

Kind Regards
Luke Woollard
