reply to emails (I've sent at least one a day since I signed up with
them on Tuesday, first to their helpdesk email and then to the
helpdesk email plus the other two emails listed in the 'Welcome to
Bizzpro' auto-email). I cannot access the shell account. Their news
server does not appear to exist. There're no instrucitons for
changing my login password (I would try to change it by telnetting to
the shell, but that does not recognise my username and password).
Even when we first tried to log on, I had to ring them and get a new
password because the one they assigned wouldn't even let me dial in.
They claim to provide shell access, news access, and 7-day
support...yet I can't get to the shell account, I haven't been able to
browse newsgroups except with deja since I signed with them, and they
don't return ANY emails! Not only that, but the connections are
choppy (like their system doesn't want to keep sending the data until
it takes a few deep breaths) and I keep getting lagged out of online
tournament games with Red Alert II (which counts as a tournament LOSS
for me). I'm really getting pissed off with Bizzpro, and if they
don't start providing the promised services and/or replying to
customer service emails I'm going to contact the TIO. If only iiNet
were less expensive. I just stopped with Domain due to problems
playing online games (there systems do the same crap that bizzpros do,
but not as bad) and you can't upload your one homepage, you send it to
them and they upload it for you *gag*. Next in line will be
icenet...then back to iiNet if they don't measure up either.

Ari

They really do have unlimited download and unlimited time online. They
recently upgraded their entire system and unfortunately haven't
upgraded
their website to reflect the new prices. I personally use this isp. I
have
to say that this current structure is because they have a lot of
modems and
not enough users obviously this will change (you would have to ask
what the
changes will be). They also offer 1 month free with no conditions and
one
month free with every everybody you recommend (who will also get one
month
free). So i would jump in now while you have the chance. When i use
apt-get from UWA i average 5590 Bps which i consider very good.

On the linux side of things
I also know they offer permenent dial up and static IP.
They also offer linux support specialising in debian and redhat.
They specialise in support for small-medium sized business using
linux.
As a one stop place for all linux needs i don't know of a better
place.
Without Bizzpro (who happens to be in business next to me :) ) I
wouldn't
have had the opportunity with linux i have now.
The system was set up by a person on this list ( I can't say because I
don't
know if i am allowed) and it humms.
I wouldn't challenge anyone who could offer a better deal but i would
challenge anyone to find someone who would try harder to satisfy a
linux
users needs in perth.

Scott
P.S. No i don't work for them but i do know the owners personally and
i know
for a fact that Chris would bend over backwards to help anyone on this
list.
Ask him for an invite to his new year eve bash.
P.P.S They are also known as Linux Services WA who have been operating
for
some time.

that
accounts have unlimited downloads. There's also no mention of their
disconnection policies. The standard account does say unlimited
hours,
though. However, without a more detailed explaination, this ISP could
be
just another 'unlimited hours' ISP that has a 200 hour per month
limit...I've come across several ISPs with odd definitions of
'unlimited',
so I'm wary when there's no information directly stating that there
are no
monthly download limits, no daily time limits, no monthly time limits,
and
no informaiton regarding their disconnection policies.
