Hi Shaun, went with AlwaysVPN as its a one off payment and openvpn
based. The machine this end is already serving up a number of openvpn's
locally, and also pptp so this seemed simplest. Initially it will be
for a single ipad (static route) but ultimately I am hoping to use geoip
and route based on that for all the local machines.

I looked at lowendstock etc and most cheap VPS's are "sold out" - could
be true ... In any case, if I only need a VPN, a VPS could be fun to
play with (VoIP?), but otherwise not much use to me.
