Hello all,

Tomorrow (Tuesday 13th March) PLUG has Chris Roberts (NBN Co), Gavin
Tweedie (iiNet), and Warwick Mitchell (AARNet) debating and taking
technical questions from you on the NBN. Chris is flying to Perth to
give a technical introduction, and then we'll be opening up for
questions from the audience - both locally in the room at the UWA
Woolnough Lecture Theatre, and remotely via IRC on the #plug channel on
irc.plug.org.au. The video stream will be at
http://icecast.plug.org.au:8000/.

This is a free and open event - please bring along anyone you know who
is interested in the technologies behind the NBN. Please forward this
message to any groups that you feel may be interested, an

The talks start at 7pm WST (+0800), so please be at the venue at least
15 minutes before hand to find a seat. For those watching the stream
that's 9pm in Queensland, and 10pm in the rest of the East Coast.

The Woolnough Lecture Theatre is located in the Geology and Geography
Department of The University of Western Australia. Closest parking is
via Fairway entrance #1 (free parking in marked bays from 5pm - read the
signs for confirmation of this). Here's a rough map:
http://g.co/maps/qnk45. For more information, see the calendar on
http://www.plug.org.au/.

PLUG membership is $20/year full, and $10/year for concession, and helps
run plug to exist and organise events like this, and the rest that you
can find in the PLUG Calendar on the web site.

Thanks to Dr Chris McDonald at UWA for the use of the venue, and to
Chris Roberts, Gavin and Warwick for their participation.

  James
