SELinux? That's only on fedora/redhat, isn't it? Anyway, running Mint
lisa with latest kernel and python as per this:

python 2.7.2+

Linux gavin-Inspiron-N5050 3.0.0-16-generic #29-Ubuntu SMP Tue Feb 14

It seemed to be one or the other that made things go a bit awry with
that script. Yes, I also ran the setup.py as sudo but still have to
run the downloader script as  sudo. This was after a quick stab at
changing obvious file ownership. Seems that associated files and/or
scripts don't  have 755 permissions or sumfing. Curious.
