[plug] IT Management Software

Hi All
Is there an equivalent of Spiceworks for a Linux OS?  need something to
- interact with MS Domain (ubuntu + kerberos?)
- check VPN connections, alert any irrecoverable/elongated drops
- other basic/common pings, scripts etc..
