[plug] apt-get update slow, even stuck on au.archive.ubuntu.com raring ?

Hi all

Over the last few weeks, my apt-get update doesnt quite finish. I let it go
for 30 mins and it crawls very few sources, that it seems to eventually
'Ign" anyway.

Ign http://au.archive.ubuntu.com raring Release.gpg
91% [Waiting for headers]

Anything I can clear to apt-get update from scratch? Can someone help me
find a link to fix.
I have Ubuntu 13.04 Raring 64bit 3.8.0-27-generic
