[plug] Proxy Cache Hit Rate

Quick survey:

If you manage or have access to a proxy cache server, what is your current
cache hit rate?

Background:

I've just been told they're obsolete and a waste of time since the hit rate
is low and all it does is add latency. Suffice to say, I'm not convinced
