Thanks for the pointer. Syncthing looks good. I really like their
documentation! (Note to self: must write better docs)

Seems like someone is working on a FUSE overlay. Have you looked at
SyncthingFUSE  (https://github.com/burkemw3/syncthingfuse) ?
