Hello all,

A quick note RE the upcoming Unearthed Perth hackathon event. This is the
fourth time we’ll run one of Perth’s most reputable hackathon events and we
want to keep up the strong attendance :)
I’m looking to get the word out amongst the tech community and reaching out
to you all for support.

A little bit of info:
Unearthed Perth will take place at CORE Innovation Hub from 19-21 May
featuring datasets and challenges from Newcrest Mining and South32. As
always, decent prize money up for grabs to the top teams (1st Prize, 2nd
Prize and a Young Innovator Award). The top teams at the conclusion of the
hackathon will all be considered for the Unearthed Accelerator Program,
based in Brisbane this year.  Additionally, the event takes place the
weekend before the big Austmine conference
<http://austmineconference.com.au/>, so we’re awarding the top team the
opportunity to present their winning solution on stage at Austmine here in
Perth. Pretty awesome!

Please drop me a line if you’re willing and able to share the event around
your groups/networks/communities and what method we can use to inform your
people. I do not want to spam and want to make sure the opportunity lies
100% with the potential participant, giving them the choice as to whether
or not they’d like to attend.
