I would assume it's the remote connection software:-

Only install if you want the person requesting install to have remote access to your computer.

     I have recently had a request to install the following
     file/program   teamviewer_12.0.85001_i386.deb.

     Before I consider doing an install are there any pluggers
     out there who may know what this file/program is all about.
