[plug] buying a laptop in Perth

Hi folks,

Thanks for all of the insightful advice. After some painstaking
deliberation (geez, these decisions are really hard) I bit the bullet and
paid Microsoft their monopoly tax. Meh. Now just to wait for my new toy to
arrive.
