[plug] buying a laptop in Perth

Hi all,

Just wanted to follow this up. In the end I took Arjen Lentz's advice, and
after some searching bit the bullet and even bought the Lenovo Yoga laptop
he linked [1] (it's down to $934 btw - since I bought mine, sadly).
The only thing I did differently to Arjen is that I don't have a 1TB 2.5"
SSD drive lying around, so I ended up shaving off 30GB for a dual-boot
partition. I had issues getting the Linux Mint cinnamon (18.3) installer
to recognise the Samsung SSD drive, but fortunately stackexchange exists
[2], and so with some bios fiddling it's working nicely now.

Many thanks to all!

Marco
