Even if Rob's profile is rare in PLUG (not sure) this sounds like a huge
opportunity. I have heard of a lot of developers in recent years who
have been Linux curious and wanted to make the switch from Windows or
Mac. Linux is everywhere now and it's a viable desktop OS especially for
tech people. It seems like doing modern Linux desktop sessions, desktop
productivity sessions, could be useful to people like Rob. Problem
solving sessions to help people out with "how to solve it with your
Linux desktop" could be useful too.

It could be the year of Linux on the desktop! :D

I would personally be keen to attend one of these to help out new people
getting started with Linux.

Cheers,

Chris.
