Hello

I've had a few people expressed disappointment that they missed the Pi get
together.

We advertised it well on Meetup and had 8 attendees which is was a good group
but we had expected more this time.

I'd be interested to see if we can make changes so it is easier to get to the
events. I had to drive a few laps before I could get street parking and City
of Perth is planning to have an overnight fee which both mean I'll be back on
the bicycle when that happens; ok, unless you have a bit of gear to bring.

So, if parking or week nights or anything else makes it difficult, please let
us know on the list or privately if you would prefer. There is plenty of
opportunity to work on-line but I feel we're losing face-to-face opportunities
if we don't make them. This is me talking who is likely the shyest person in
the room !

Our Plug in the Pub moves around so people can get along when it becomes a
local event. The Mighty Quinn in Yokine is our next social meetup; next
Wednesday .. see the events page. I have no excuse because I'll be driving
past from Wangara (a little early but I'll be trying their coffee anyway).

Looking forward to any clues so we can grow our events again.

Also, a weekend afternoon Installfest, does that pique your interest ? even to
help timid and wary people to get Linux on to some hardware.

All the best
Harry
