i place the isp dns in the TCIP properties (win98)</FONT></DIV>

sendmail and installed the latest postfix</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The windows comps have a gateway which points to my
Linux comp 192.168.1.1</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have rc.firewall setup and it works
correctly</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The windows machines can access the internet
without haveing the isp nos in the TCIP properties via browsers which point to
the squid proxy</FONT></DIV>

windows comps I cannot ping from a windows dos prompt to the outside

/etc/resolve.conf</FONT></DIV>
