<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am trying to make a PPP server. I can dial a 

windows box into it and it works fine but i can not dial a Linux box into 

it.  It is running Debian 2.2 and i have tried using pon and DialModem to 

connect as well as MiniCom.  i get a connection with minicom but when i 

execute pppd from the shell prompt it doesn't actually "do" anything ie i cannot 

get access to the "world", no browsing etc though the windows box works 

fine.  I have no ideas.  Any Help would be appreciated</FONT></DIV>
