I am using Pentium with old 2 speed Creative CD-ROM
drive pulled off a Soundblaster card, ie not IDE (don't laugh!).
Mandrake 7.2 supported this. New version Mandrake 8.1 from Linux Club
doesn't find the CD drive, doesn't offer "driver" and I do not know how Linux
will let me get around this (non-IDE drive). Any tips on how I resolve
this in the distro (ie not the hardware?).
