<DIV>For what its worth, I just booted my vmware linux box, took a snapshot and
had a try at getting some stuff working.... Unfortunately I have redhat 9, not
gentoo, but took a look to see what I could try.</DIV>

<DIV>Now I can </DIV>

<DIV>Lots of stuff is back in its original place.....but I can't move /lib

dear old Kalg.. I have no idea "if" there is a shop around that<BR>actually
has any Linux distro's, and my last copy of knoppix was left in Perth<BR>I am
not sure how to proceed..<BR><BR>I am also guessing that when this dialup
session dies, and am probably not going<BR>to be able to get back on line..
