<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I was just wondering if there are any non-free Debian style distributions of Linux out there.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Novell have got their commercial version of Suse out there where they are obliged to provide some support for their software. However, Debian seems to have much better hardware support available and their package management system is better.</FONT></P>


<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">If there was a large company who provided support (not just the consulting firm who rolls it out), it would be easier to respond to the typical objections (such as accountability) when trying to implement Debian solutions.</FONT></P>
