Just out of curiosity... since I don't think the answer has transpired
through the discussion...<br>

Typically a stat like that is used to prove a point or support a
theory, perhaps to justify designing a site that ONLY supports IE and
the "5% other" be damned.<br>

What was he using the stat for?<br>
