FreeMind is the one that immediately comes to mind. I too recall the
discussion recently, just not sure on which list. I've just had a look
through my recent archives of plug and another to which I'm subscribed
- same result, nothing!

No time to go check the archives myself, but a quick search using
Thunderbird turns up some main plug-list emails from earlier this month
titled "[plug] old age nonpensioner seeks mind mapper" which mentioned
amongst others Freemind and Tomboy.<br>
