What about treating it as a tech web site for an imaginary company you work for?<BR>

It should contain some policy (i.e. our mindset), some links to support that policy (e.g. open documentation on wikipedia), some links to software, and maybe no mirrored data at all?<BR>

Value adding I think would mainly be a really good search over PLUG email history.<BR>
