The Perth Linux Users Group AGM will be held at
Lotterywest House, West Perth
on Tuesday 10th January 2012 at 7pm.
In addition to the normal business of an AGM, at this meeting a Special
Resolution to modify
the Club's Rules of Association will be moved, details follow towards
the end of this notice.

The members who have nominated for committee positions are:
for Chairperson: James Bromberger, Nick Bannon;
for Vice-Chairperson: Euan de Kock, James Bromberger, Nick Bannon;
for Treasurer: Nick Bannon;
for Secretary: Nick Bannon, Perter Lyons;
for Ordinary Committee Members (currently an unofficial position): Tim
White, Craig Inches, Luke John.

This is the constitutional change recently foreshadowed on the PLUG
mailing list, notes and

including the new rules is attached to this notice.
*Information for Members*
Rule 20 allows for proxy votes. A proxy form is attached to this notice
for your convenience.
Nominations for the positions of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson,
Treasurer and Secretary are
closed; elections for those positions which received more than one
canditate will take place at the
AGM.
Alterations to the rule by the Special Resolution can only be made if
supported by 75% of members
voting at the meeting or by proxy.
Alterations to the rules only take effect when lodged with the
Department of Commerce & Employment Protection.
