to someone who proposed a worthy talk, but didn’t manage to get</div><div dir="ltr">selected as a speaker for the conference. The <a href="http://Linux.conf.au">Linux.conf.au</a> 2014 team likes that</div><div dir="ltr">idea so much that we’re going to do it again!</div>
<div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Why give away a ticket? Running a ticket give away as part of the</div><div dir="ltr">proposals process encourages submissions from people who otherwise</div><div dir="ltr">might not propose content for the conference. The reality is that</div>
<div dir="ltr">there is a lot of competition to get a talk accepted at <a href="http://Linux.conf.au">Linux.conf.au</a>.</div><div dir="ltr">This way, if you don’t get accepted there’s still a benefit to having</div><div dir="ltr">
