<div dir="ltr">Hey Onno,<div><br></div><div>I've had a SSD die similar to you in that it just wasn't appearing as a disk any more. Since this was housed in an external USB3 enclosure, and I didn't know what died at first, I did try another enclosure, different USB ports, and finally just connecting it directly to a system via SATA - same prob in all cases. At this point I gave up since most of the stuff on it I could either recover elsewhere or didn't matter. Luckily it was covered under warranty so managed to get a replacement for it.</div><div><br></div><div>FYI this was an Intel drive because I was worried about reliability and they have a good rep, well there ya go everyone suffers failures :)</div><div><br></div><div> </div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Tue, Jan 13, 2015 at 12:47 PM, Onno Benschop <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:onno@itmaze.com.au" target="_blank">onno@itmaze.com.au</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">It appears that I'm the only one to ever experience this problem?</div><div class="gmail_extra"><div><div class="h5"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On 5 January 2015 at 14:12, Onno Benschop <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:onno@itmaze.com.au" target="_blank">onno@itmaze.com.au</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><p dir="ltr">I have a 250Gb SSD that stopped showing up in the bios.
