Thank you Andrew, it was a step in the right direction, the boot USB
indicated activity for 4 or 5 minutes before stopping.<br>
It's encouragement for me to check Ian Morrison's bootloaders again
(<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.linuxium.com.au">www.linuxium.com.au</a>). I don't altogether understand what he's
recommending but I'll have another go at it and report soon.<br>
