[UGMM] Introduction

Hi Everyone,


My name is Richard and I have just moved to Perth. I spent the last 5 years working in systems support at the University of London. Whilst most of my professional experience was gained in a MS environment, I have spent the last year learning as much about Linux as possible and I am well and truly hooked. I'm looking for work at the moment and ideally, I'd very much like to work in a Linux environment. 

Unfortunately, there are very few low level Linux jobs on websites such as Seek etc. and I thought the PLUG mailing list might throw up some leads and/or suggestions. I plan on attending the next PLUG meeting, next Tuesday  and I look forward to meeting some of you then.
