We've booked Meeting Room 2 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, and will be providing pizzas and a short talk before moving on to the AGM proper at 7:00 PM and committee elections. We would appreciate RSVPs so we know how many pizzas to order. They can be sent to committee at plug.org.au or by responding to the MeetUp event: https://www.meetup.com/perth-linux-users-group-plug/events/312417704/ We will be electing a new committee at the AGM, so nominations are open for the following positions: * Chairperson * Vice-chair * Treasurer * Secretary * Ordinary committee member (up to three) Nominations: Nominations can be made in writing or email to the Committee (committee at plug.org.au). Nominations must include the name of the nominee and nominator (if they are different), who must both be Financial Members. Nominees must meet the eligibility rules defined in section 10 of the PLUG Constitution (https://www.plug.org.au/constitution/current.html) and also the eligibility rules required by the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 (https://www.consumerprotection.wa.gov.au/publications/eligibility-requirements-committee-members-associations-info). Nominees must confirm that they are not ineligible under the requirements of this Act. Proxies: You may appoint another member to attend and vote on your behalf, by writing to the Secretary (committee at plug.org.au). Note: all nomination and proxy requests must be received by Sunday 2026-01-11 12:00 noon.
