I had this problem, as well as misc Sig11's while in netscape, and would
you
believe. It was a Dud AMD k6-2 300 ???.
I had 2 from the same batch, and they would run ok, until I fired up
Netscape
then they would bomb X windows.
They were dud under win 95 too.
I replaced them with a k6-2 333 from an entirely different batch, and
have not
had a bomb since.
