The bitmap has been Base64-encoded as a text inclusion to your email. On 
Debian, use mpack to extract it, otherwise something like UUDeview, a free 
encoder/decoder which automatically detects the encoding type, including 
MIME Base64, BinHex, uuencode and xxencode. It's available from 
http://www.informatik.uni-frankfurt.de/~fp/uudeview/
